MASTERS PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Why let the young clubbies have all the fun? WSLSC is looking to increase access to surf sport programs for Masters-aged members. This is a relatively new and emerging area within the club. Anyone over 30 years wanting to get involved in Masters competition and training should contact Nathan Hight (027 4 757 329).

Coaching sessions will be available through the summer period, along with opportunities to enter Masters carnivals for those keen. For 2026/27, the focus is on skills development (craft and water), enjoyment, and internal club racing to build confidence and get people interested, with a longer-term view of building our numbers for Masters competition. If there are sufficient numbers, Masters surf boat rowing may also be available.
